Immigrant of Distinction Award (American Immigration Lawyers' Association - AILA) Oral History collection
The video interviews were conducted and recorded with the recipients of the "Immigrant of Distinction" award by the American Immigration Lawyers' Association's Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter. The narratives document the immigrant experiences of the award recipients. Included are digital files containing the video and audio recordings, also transcripts for selected oral histories. Collection contains Velma Doby's thesis including her English translation of an autobiography by the Finnish American poet Helmi Mattson.
