1918 Forest Fire documents
This collection is intended to accommodate miscellaneous, primary documents related to the October 12, 13, 1918 Cloquet-Moose Lake forest fire and its aftermath when provenance or donor information about the material is unclear or not known.
Julius H. Barnes papers
The collection contains correspondence, financial materials, articles, pamphlets, photographs, news clippings, sketchbooks, a tape recording, and miscellaneous reference materials. Most of the records originate from the period between 1940-1958 and document Barnes' financial interests and his involvement in the St. Lawrence Seaway project. Some personal correspondence is also included.
Jay Cooke and Company records
The collection contains a copy of an 1880 “catalog of stocks, bonds, western lands, town lots and other real estate belonging to Jay Cooke and Co. in bankruptcy to be sold.” The collection also includes a business card, telegraph ciphers, copies of two notes, a catalog.
Duluth Board of Trade records
The Duluth Board of Trade records include information about the functioning of the Board of Trade from its inception in 1881 to the dissolution of the company in 1972.

The collection contains a 1936 company catalogue with descriptions and photographs of Duluth Linen Company products and prices.
Goldfine family papers
The collection contains family and business papers, photographs, slides, one film, scrapbooks and photograph albums. The collection includes correspondence, legal documents, publications, minutes, photographs, financial reports, and news clippings for Goldfine's, Miller Furniture Company, Spirit Mountain Authority, Temple Israel, and the Goldfine family.
Richard H. Hudelson labor history research collection
The collections contains research materials compiled to write Dr. Hudelson's book published by the University of Minnesota Press in 2006 titled By the Ore Docks: A Working People’s History of Duluth.
Joint Committee of Civic Organizations for Steel Base records
The collection contains correspondence,1906–1923; legal materials; news clippings, 1918–1924; and pamphlets. Legal materials include petitions and complaints to the Federal Trade Commission and miscellaneous resolutions.
Minnesota Arrowhead Association records
The collection contains annual reports, correspondence, programs, publications, and photographs.

R.S. Patrick, Inc. records
The collection consists of three lengthy promotional booklets for the business, a booklet commemorating a visit by Queen Mary to the London offices of the Diamond Trading Company, a color plate detailing Mr. Patrick's private collection of precious and semi-precious stones, a letter concerning the closure of the business, and a letter about R.S. Patrick from Hedwig Viking.
