Stillman (Bud) Thompson family papers
The papers include photographs (1908-1994), an undated wedding portrait, account books (about 1900), hunting and fishing licenses (1960-1988), high school diplomas (1930, 1945), letters, military service papers (1932), greeting cards (1954-1963), and service station papers (1941-1992). The largest part of the collection is fishing and hunting photographs.
Tometaro Kitagawa papers
The papers (1918-2004) of Tometaro Kitagawa (1876-1962), a Japanese born American businessman, consist of 44 diaries (some diaries contain loose items -- 1920, 1939, 1949, 1950, 1958), transcripts of the diaries, two photographs, and a catalog from the store Kitagawa owned and operated in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The diary transcripts were created by his descendants starting in the late 1980s, and completed in the early 2000s. The majority of the collection in English, with some Japanese.

The collection contains minutes of stockholders' and board of directors' meetings, January 1916-May 1924.

The collection consists of 127 slides on the history and development of West Duluth, including reproduced historic images and views from the 1980s likely photographed by Robert VanKleek. These slides may have been used to illustrate public presentations by VanKleek on the history of West Duluth.
Western Auto Stores photograph collection

A few of the photographs of Michigan street and 202 West Superior street includes signs for Western Auto Stores or Western Auto Stores Service Department.
