Ward Ames Home photographs
The collection contains 28 photographs of exterior and interior of a house at 1618 Vermilion Road in Duluth, Minnesota.
Architectural Advisory Committee records
The collection consists of minutes from the first meeting, June 6, 1966, to meeting twenty-five, June 12, 1973; bits of correspondence; memos; copies of the standards used; and a list of committee members.
Architectural drawings collection
The collection contains architects' drawings and specifications for buildings. Almost all the plans are for structures in northeastern Minnesota, with some plans by local architects for buildings in other areas.
Gust and Hanna Carlson family home photographs
The collection contains one bound volume of 53 exterior and interior black and white silver gelatin 8x10 photographs by L. P. Gallagher from 1941 of the Carlson house and furnishings at 202 North 24th Avenue East, Duluth, Minnesota, small hand-drawn floor plans of the basement and three floors, one 5x7 photograph of the house under construction with the workmen in 1910, and a detail of an undated photograph identified as architect Robert Lobecke.
Charles A. Curtis photograph collection
The collection consists primarily of black and white and color photographs by a photojournalist employed by a Duluth newspaper. The photographs are of the city of Duluth, events, people, as well as the northeast Minnesota area primarily from 1971, 1982-1990s; many are not dated and unidentified.

The collection consists of a committee member’s file of materials compiled as part of the work of the preservation committee’s efforts to spearhead community interest and creativity in keeping Central standing.

Black and white snapshots of Duluth street scenes, traffic, city buses, trucks, first street, downtown Duluth in winter, pedestrians, cars, buildings, children, Superior street, Woolworths, banks, store window displays, Railroad street, steam plant, etc. Some of these unidentified images have times of day noted: they may be court records.
Charles Foster photograph albums
The photographs document the utility and power plants of a variety of Duluth, Minnesota and Iron Range (Virginia, Hibbing, Ely) city buildings and schools. Other Minnesota and South Dakota city buildings are also documented. Some of the photographs are by professional Duluth photographer Hugh McKenzie.
George Thrana, Master Stone Sculptor transcript
The collection consists of a transcript of a lecture presented at a meeting of the St. Louis County Historical Society, March 18, 1980. The lecture dealt with George Thrana and his work as a stone carver in the city of Duluth, Minnesota.

Content of the photographs includes: streets, views of Lake Superior, Central High School, Fire Hall, the Hibbard Plant, Lakefront, the First Presbyterian Church, Elliott Packing Co., Park Point, and Rail Road tracks.
