It was aired June 7, 2001 as part of a week of events in Duluth, Minnesota planned by the MEMORIAL COMMITTEE. The Committee sought to commemorate the deaths of three African-American circus workers in Duluth on June 15, 1920. The victims, lynched by a mob, were Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson and Isaac...
