General Historical Photograph Album collection
The collection consists of photograph albums from various photographers and collectors.
General Postcard collection
All postcards donated to the archives are added to this collection. The cards are arranged by the subjects used in the general historical photograph collection; the subjects are filed alphabetically.
General Poster collection
The collection contains posters for events, publications, and organizations from Duluth and northeastern Minnesota.
George A. Newton photographs
The collection consists of cabinet cards and unmounted, primarily, albumen prints stamped with Newton's name or his advertisement. It is assumed he made the photographs.
George Thrana, Master Stone Sculptor transcript
The collection consists of a transcript of a lecture presented at a meeting of the St. Louis County Historical Society, March 18, 1980. The lecture dealt with George Thrana and his work as a stone carver in the city of Duluth, Minnesota.
Malcolm Gillespie photograph collection
This collection contains glass plate negatives and photographic prints collected by Dr. Gillespie. Images include doctors, clinics, hospitals, nurses, the St. Louis County Medical Society, and early scenes of Duluth, Minnesota.
John Gilomen papers
This collection contains a certificate of citizenship (passport) from Scheunenberg, Switzerland, a typed translation of that document, and a homestead certificate from Duluth, Minnesota, dated 1874.
Glen Avon Presbyterian Church records
The collection contains material concerning Glen Avon Church collected by the Macfarlane family including: letters regarding dolls for the Annual Flower Show Association, and auxiliary of the church, 1898; church event pamphlets and weekly church bulletins, 1898–1973; correspondence regarding donation of church bell, 1910; news clippings concerning the Flower Show and the first pastor, 1898–1947; and three photographs of the church and Mr. MacFarlane, 1890–1962.

Elizabeth J. Goodsell slides
The collection consists of approximately 1,240 black and white and color slides of Duluth sites, views, events, and activities from 1955-1973.
Great Lakes Naval Training photographs
The collection consists of three 8x10 (broken at the folds), black and white photographs of Duluth men who served in the Great Lakes Naval Training program in WWI.
Walter Joss Green papers
The collection contains letters from Mitchell and McClure Lumber to Walter Green including a contract as the captain of the tug Ada Barrett for the 1898 sailing season and two letters of reference; other letters concerning Green's work in the harbor; a memorial card for Walter Joss who is presumably Green's maternal grandfather; and citizenship papers.
H. Watson Wilson oral history interview
Consists of two audio recordings of an interview with H. Watson Wilson. The interview, conducted by Barbara Sommer on behalf of the Northeast Minnesota Historical Center, took place on March 23, 1977.

Folder two holds December 30, 1927 letters about "disposal of dairy products from the Louis Jacobson farm in Cotton Township where a typhoid fever case developed."

History of Business Development in Duluth oral history interviews
The interviews in this project document the history of Duluth area businesses and labor unions. Narrators comment, where appropriate, on the founding and growth of carious businesses or labor organizations, the formation of corporate policies, labor – management relations, urban renewal, union philosophy and strategy, government regulation, binding arbitrations, and the relationship of business and labor political and civic affairs.
