Records (1939-1961) of the Alliance Publishing Company of Chicago, Ill., a publisher of Polish American newspapers Dziennik Zwiazkowy and Zgoda, include correspondence; cartoons; editorial material; newspaper clippings; photographs; and material for the 1952 Kalendarz Zwiazkowy (an annual publication). Also included are material on the American Slav Congress of 1949; and a financial report for the Polish American Congress (1953).

Papers ( 1914-1975) of Anatol Julian Kurdydyk (1905- ) consist of newspaper clippings on Ukrainian community activities in Canada, and a document titled "An Act to incorporate the Ruthenian Greek Catholic Parishes and Missions in the Province of Manitoba."

Papers (1928-1974) of Caesar L. Donnaruma (1900- ) consist mostly of records and correspondence relating to publication of the Italian American newspaper La Gazzetta del Massachusetts (later the Post-Gazette). Of special interest is correspondence with political figures, including John F. Kennedy.

James V. Donnaruma, 1874-1953 papers
James V. Donnaruma (1874-1953) came to the United States from Italy in 1886 and settled in Boston, Massachusetts. His papers (1897-1962) consist mostly of business files relating to publication of his newspaper, Gazzetta del Massachusetts (later the Post-Gazette). Also included are correspondence with prominent Italian Americans and papers of James's son and successor Caesar L. Donnaruma.

John Krawiec papers
Papers of John Krawiec consist of correspondence, clippings and publications, event programs, photographs, legal documents, a reel-to-reel recording of his remarks upon the death of his mother (1969), and various other materials. Worth mentioning are materials regarding the United Steelworkers of America’s Ed Sadlowski, Free Poland, the samizdat (underground) press, Lech Walensa’s “Solidarnosc” movement, and the Legion of Self Liberation of Poland.

Karol T. Jaskolski papers
Papers reflect K. Jaskolski's activities as editor of the Polish American newspapers, Kuryer Codzienny and Gazeta Polonii, and his involvement with radio broadcasts of the "Polish Variety Hour" and Voice of America. Also included are materials pertaining to many Polish American organizations in the Boston area.
Mary Mokarzel papers
Papers (1921-1972) of Mary Mokarzel contain personal correspondence; business records; photographs; advertisements; and miscellany. Mokarzel succeeded her father as publisher of the Arab-American newspaper Al-Hoda. Also included are subscription lists for the Lebanese American Journal. Correspondents include Sheik Pierre Gemayel; William M. Kunstler; Khilil Habib Sayegh; Leonard S. Tack; Nacib Trabulsi and others.
