Lester Park Literary Club records

Observation Community Club records
The collection consists of minutes, script and typed copy, from July 26, 1909–December 24, 1931; a brief history of the Observation Community Club; its constitution and bylaws; the constitution and bylaws of other community clubs in the city; and a list of names and officers of various community clubs in the city that were used as “contacts”.
Parent Teacher Association, Duluth Council records
The collection contains news clippings, 1928-1973; yearbooks, 1943/44-1975/76; and three general scrapbooks, 1928-1930, 1951-1953. Some photographs are included in the scrapbooks.
Linda A. Paulsen papers
Linda A. Paulsen bought the Queen Anne style Alfred and Jane McCordic house at 2104 East Superior Street and converted it into a bed and breakfast enterprise called The Immigrant House. The papers relate solely to the house and its restoration.
Riverside Elementary School PTA records
The Riverside School PTA collection contains materials, bulletins, programs, etc. These scrapbooks contain classroom photos, teacher photos, PTA board members, fund raisers, medical advisement for the given year, and any other special interests throughout the year. The collection contains 15 scrapbooks of the PTA and 1 ledger of the PTA.
Hjalmer C. Rykken photographs
The collection consists of black and white photographs by Hjalmer C. Rykken amateur but experienced photographer, that were made between October 1958 and July 1962. Content of the photographs includes: streets, views of Lake Superior, Central High School, Fire Hall, the Hibbard Plant, Lakefront, the First Presbyterian Church, Elliott Packing Co., Park Point, and Rail Road tracks.

United States Steel Plant, Morgan Park videotape
The amateur video consists of 10 minutes of silent black and white footage from 1972 of the plant grounds, plus five minutes of color footage from 1986.
United West End - Citizens' Organizations Acting Together records
The collection contains agendas and minutes, an audit covering the years 1975 and 1976, a National Commission on Neighborhoods case study of UWE-COACT, correspondence and reports pertaining to a funding controversy between UWE-COACT and United Way of Greater Duluth in 1977, news clippings, circulars, and newsletters.
Gerrit Vandenberg oral history interview
The collection consists of one 90 minute audiocassette tape oral history interview narrated by a resident of the Duluth neighborhood Morgan Park.

The collection consists of 127 slides on the history and development of West Duluth, including reproduced historic images and views from the 1980s likely photographed by Robert VanKleek. These slides may have been used to illustrate public presentations by VanKleek on the history of West Duluth.
