Independent Republican Party, Minnesota, Eighth Congressional District and St. Louis County Committee records
The collection consists primarily of papers dealing with the 59th, 60th, 61st, 62nd, and 63rd legislative districts of the state of Minnesota, the 9th state senate district, St. Louis County, plus a small amount of material dealing with state and national politics. It contains administrative records, campaign material, subject files, publications and newspaper clippings.

Joint Committee of Civic Organizations for Steel Base records

Labor History collection
While surveying the collections of the NEMHC for the Minnesota Radicalism project, these items were identified as potentially useful for labor development research. Additional materials will be added to this collection as they are donated and appropriate.
League of Women Voters of Duluth records
Contains the business records of the organization including minutes, annual reports, and correspondence, information on local study items, selected newspaper clippings scrapbooks, and audiocassettes and films on various topics.
Arlene Lehto papers
The collection contains documents from the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission, the Great Lakes Basin Commission, and the Save Lake Superior Association. Also included are Lehto’s legislative papers, subject files, and publications.

National Organization for Women (Minnesota) records
The collection contains minutes, annual/chapter reports, membership list, correspondence, news releases, by-laws, legislative platforms, resolutions, committee proposals and minutes, state conference information, bus trips to the capitol, photographs, information from related organizations, miscellaneous, newspaper clippings, and oversized posters. Materials from both the Duluth, Minnesota chapter and the statewide, Minnesota, organization are represented in the collection.
Newspapers special issues
This collection contains special issues of newspapers pertinent to local history, covering a variety of topics such as anniversary or dedicatory occasions and so forth.
Northwood Children's Home records
The collection includes 12 journals of expenditures or bills paid to local suppliers of goods and services, receipts, and monthly payroll records. The ledgers also include some years of payroll, naming the employee and giving their job title. The collection also contains a history of Northwood Children’s Home, by-laws, 1907 annual report, brochure, and news clippings.
Old Settlers Association of the Head of Lake Superior records
The collection contains scrapbooks, news clippings, membership card file, reminiscences, financial and legal materials, photographs, and reference materials.
Barb Olsen papers
The collection consists of typescript, uncut OUT OF ORDER columns from August 12, 2002 to September 2004 that were published in the Duluth alternative newspaper/publication Reader Weekly.
John Stone Pardee papers
The collection contains correspondence, articles written by Pardee, notes and other reference materials. Most of the material concerns Pardee's Duluth, Minnesota civic activities, including the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Tidewater Association correspondence (1918-1930), civic council material (1925-1928) and some correspondence and notes on "Pittsburg Plus" (1924-1927), an issue concerning unfair steel base prices.
Point of Rocks Removal collection
The collection contains printed materials issued "for" (Greater Duluth Committee, Emil S. Gustafson, chair and William McEwen, campaign manager) and "against" (The Committee of Two Thousand, W. B. Getchell, chair) a proposal to make traffic improvements at the Point of Rocks.
Scott-Graff Lumber Company records
The collection contains corporate and financial records and minutes; job site and construction records; publicity records; and oversized photos and blueprints.
Seaway Port Authority of Duluth records
The collection contains annual reports, 1954-1977, minutes, 1930-1977, correspondence, files by office divisions, legal materials, news clippings, publications, and photographs.
William Spalding family papers
Steamer Winyah log book
The collection contains a ship's log book, June 1933-July 1935, noting route, time and weather conditions of 18 voyages of the Steamer Winyah, a freighter that served commercial fisherman along the north shore of Lake Superior and Isle Royale. Also included is a pamphlet of regulations of the Duluth-Superior harbor.
Twentieth Century Club of Duluth records
The collection contains constitution and by-laws; minutes, 1898-1930; scrapbooks, 1898-1982; yearbooks, 1910-1912; pamphlets and serials; membership directories; conference programs; and organizational histories. Some of the scrapbooks include photographs.
Twin Ports Women's Growth Center records
The collection consists of minutes, correspondence, financial records, membership files, personnel records, records documenting the development of special programs and classes, survey of social service agencies and membership, publicity, news paper clippings, newsletters, and essays.

The collection contains descriptions of the new American Steel and Wire Division plant; a news release, a tour folder, two booklets on the Duluth plant and a booklet on the American Steel and Wire Division describing the industry and all its plants with eight photographs. Also included are photograph albums and photographic negatives.
Universal Air Filter Corporation bulletins
The collection contains four bulletins from this Duluth company explaining the need for air filters, how they work, and where they have been installed.
