1918 Forest Fire documents
This collection is intended to accommodate miscellaneous, primary documents related to the October 12, 13, 1918 Cloquet-Moose Lake forest fire and its aftermath when provenance or donor information about the material is unclear or not known.
Allied Printing Trades Council records
The collection contains miscellaneous correspondence and mailings from other Printing Trades 1918-1928, and one volume of Council minutes, May 1937 to April 1944.
Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Minnesota, Duluth (Minn.) records
The collection contains bylaws, 1890, of the Palestine Lodge; officers and membership list, 1890, and a 1932 poster of the charter members of the Ionic Lodge; and officers and membership list, 1892, of the Euclid Lodge.
Alexandria A. Antoskiewicz scrapbook
The collection consists of a “School Friendship Book”, 1919-1923, a scrapbook of Duluth Denfeld High school student Alexandria A. Antoskiewicz who graduated in 1923.
Architectural drawings collection
The collection contains architects' drawings and specifications for buildings. Almost all the plans are for structures in northeastern Minnesota, with some plans by local architects for buildings in other areas.
Baldwin Flats photographs
The Baldwin Flats are located at 711 – 715 West Second Street, Duluth, Minnesota, built in 1891 – 92. The thirteen prints comprising this collection were copied from a photograph album loaned to the St. Louis County Historical Society, the copy prints and negatives were then transferred to the NEMHC. The prints show the exterior and interior of the building.
Joseph Braverman music scores
The collection contains photocopies of musical scores. Most of the scores are copies of unpublished music written by Joseph Braverman.
Carl A. Carlson oral history recording
This 90 minute history of Carl A. Carlson was taped in January 1972. No one is heard asking questions. Carlson chronicles development and changes in the dairy business in Duluth.
Catholic Mission of Fond du Lac records
Contains materials on the history of the Catholic Mission and Catholic churches established to minister to Ojibwe people in the area of the Fond du Lac reservation near Cloquet, Minnesota. Materials were compiled by Father Alban Fruth of Holy Family Church in Cloquet in the late 1970s.
Chester Park Elementary School PTA scrapbooks
The collection consists of two scrapbooks (1931-1933 and 1945-1946) from the Chester Park School Parent-Teacher Association.
Chippewa Vocabulary card file
The collection contains translations of Chippewa (Ojibwe) and English language words written on 4x6" cards arranged alphabetically.
Duluth Living Wage Coalition records
The collection includes Erik Peterson’s committee meeting notes of Duluth and St. Louis County, case statements, meeting rosters, meeting notices, agendas, minutes, publicity materials, relevant publications by Good Jobs First and Smart Growth, support documents, newspaper articles about this local and other states’ living wage campaigns. There are also files on living wage issues as they relate to child care costs and wages.
Duluth Photographers' Studios photograph collection
The collection consists of 21 photographs from Duluth photographers' studios.
Duluth Planning and Development Department news clippings and photographs
The collection consists of news clipping files pertaining to various city problems and concerns. These files were compiled by the Duluth, Minnesota Planning and Development Department.
Dworshak Studio photographs
The collection consists of 4 photographs. The photos are of a wedding, a 1923 family portrait, 1952 portrait of a man, and a 1939 Denfeld High School senior class picture.
Elliott Meat Packing Company records
The collection documents Elliott's and its predecessor companies. The records consist primarily of production and financial records.

The materials comprising this collection are secondary resources Dr. Carlson gathered over time to support her research, including the publication A Childhood in Minnesota : Exploring the Lives of Ojibwe and Immigrant Families, 1880s-1920s.
French Township records
The collection contains election registers; treasurer's annual statements and accounts; auditor's annual reports; records of wolf bounties paid; road petitions; a road record book; birth and death registers; justice of the peace docket; and telephone system custom ledger.
General Historical Photographs collection
This collection consists of visual images arranged by subject, name, or format.
General Postcard collection
All postcards donated to the archives are added to this collection. The cards are arranged by the subjects used in the general historical photograph collection; the subjects are filed alphabetically.
General Poster collection
The collection contains posters for events, publications, and organizations from Duluth and northeastern Minnesota.
George A. Newton photographs
The collection consists of cabinet cards and unmounted, primarily, albumen prints stamped with Newton's name or his advertisement. It is assumed he made the photographs.
Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Tidewater Association records
The collection contains correspondence, pamphlets, publications, minutes, press releases, one photograph, newspaper clippings, articles, maps and miscellaneous reference materials. The records reflect the organic history of the Association and the history of the entire Seaway movement from the establishment of the Association to its demise in 1939.
John C. Green papers
The collection consists of correspondence; reports; files on conferences, meetings, and workshops; subject research files; tape recordings of a public meeting and a symposium; and publications relating to the All University Council on Environmental Quality, the Minerals Subcommittee of the Natural Resources Advisory Council, AMAX Exploration's MINNAMAX Exploration Project and base metals mining.
Clara A. Helwig papers
The collection includes ten personal letters, seven letters of recommendation, and one letter from the Duluth Humane Society concerning Helwig's handling of truant and delinquent children. Document types include originals, photocopies, and typed transcriptions.

Irving Elementary School PTA records
The collection consists of 12 PTA scrapbooks, a record book with handwritten minutes from 1946-1952, a homemade book of class photos from 1950 with student names, a convention packet from the 1962 Minnesota Congress of Parents and Teachers, and a scrapbook for the Irving school Mothersingers for the years 1948-1955.

The collection consists of a small quantity of notes, research materials, incorporation papers, financial records, legal briefs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings.
