Records (1981-1985) of Vidienes Balsis, a Latvian newsletter based in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, consist of correspondence; editorial manuscripts, notes, and photographs; clippings; and copies of various Latvian publications.
Vienna Laine papers
Vienna Laine's collection contains a scrapbook and photocopies of newspaper clippings from mainly American newspapers concentrating on the Winter War between Finland and Russia in 1939-1940. Also issues of "The Minneapolis Morning Tribune" and "Minneapolis Star-Journal" from December 1939 to February 1940. Some of the clippings pertain to Finnish Americans, chiefly to Finns in Minnesota. In addition, one book ("Suuri Taistelu Kristuksen ja saatanan valilla" by E. G. White) is included.
