Abstract
The collection consists primarily of Harold Goldenberg's letters to Zelda Goldberg while he was attending Harvard Law School, 1928-1931. Harold was president of the Minneapolis Federation for Jewish Service from 1943-1946, and chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, 1945-1950.

Collection contains the papers of Max Lowenthal, alumnus of the University of Minnesota. A successful attorney who devoted his life to public service, Lowenthal served as counsel to a series of government committees in the 1930s and 1940s.
