Papers of Anthony Cama consist of Order Sons of Italy in America materials, including Junior Division ritual book (Mass.), correspondence of the Riunite No. 889 chapter (Mass.). Also included are a Columbus Day Proclamation by Gov. John Volpe (1965), a resume of Paul Lazzaro, newspaper clippings pertaining to OSIA lodges in Lynn and to the Mass. grand lodge, and photographs of local OSIA lodge activities (1963-1965).
Collection (1952-1977) includes Columbus Day and testimonial dinner programs of Order Sons of Italy in America, Pennsylvania District 12 (Fayette County), Supreme Lodge General Laws (1947), a copy of "Congresso Eucaristico," the bulletin of the Trivento Diocese in Italy, a scrapbook of newsclippings, loose newspaper clippings, and photographs pertaining to OSIA District 12.
Records (1935-1965) of the Columbus Memorial Association (St. Paul, Minnesota) include constitution of the Association; by-laws; membership records; financial records; correspondence; minutes; and a scrapbook. The scrapbook contains miscellany on the procedure of passing the Columbus Day Bill in the State of Minnesota Legislature (1945).
Papers (1952-1984) of John E. Ciatti consist of materials from the Order Sons of Italy in America. OSIA state level materials include a Columbus Day Dinner-Dance booklet (1964), and a Columbus Monument Committee Dinner booklet (1984). Also included are photographs depicting a Delaware convention banquet testimonial for Joseph Errigo (1952), the Supreme Convention (1955), a dinner for Eugene Alessandroni (1955), and a Columbus Day program (1984).
Records (1918-1986) of the Order Sons of Italy in America, C. Colombo-C. Battista Lodge No. 861 (Mich.) include lodge minutes (1918-1932, 1947-1957), financial records (1953-1975), booklets of annual Columbus Day dances, miscellaneous copies of the Lodge newsletter, Il Messagero, and newsletters of other local lodges. Also included are Supreme and Grand Lodge correpsondence and Grand Council and Grand Convention minutes (1981-1986), as well as Michigan, Connecticut, and Ohio by-laws.
Collection contains correspondence and minutes from the period when Avara served as National President. Also included are runs of the OSIA News and Il Leone for the period 1980 to 1989.
