Anthony Toro lived in Hartford, Conn. and held the office of Order Sons of Italy in America Supreme Trustee (1957-1959, 1961-1965). Collection (1943-1978) consists of lists of officers, grand convention information, the booklet of the 1950 state convention, materials on grand lodge activities, and correspondence.
Giuffrida's collection of Order Sons of Italy in America materials consists of materials on the 1985 and 1987 Supreme Conventions; Supreme correspondence (1985-1987); information relating to various OSIA committees and programs; material on the California Grand Convention, 1985; and the New York and Connecticut Grand Conventions (1986). Photographs and newspaper clippings are included.
The John Ottaviano Jr. Order Sons of Italy in America collection consists of OSIA Supreme Convention reports, committee reports, correspondence, legal and financial records, and correspondence with lodges in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Northwest, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Ottaviano was National President of OSIA (1961-1965).
