The collection contains a photograph album, 1902 – 1953, showing the company’s docks, apparatus, and delivery methods The photographs document changes in technology in coal handling and also include trains, lake vessels, conveyors, land transportation, coal handling in the yard, a 1914 hydraulic dump truck. The collection includes two loose photographs of their local storefronts in Duluth and Superior, price cards, 1880 – 1916, and a newsletter to company employees.

The collection contains an account ledger including information on all three of the Oreck owned apparel stores located in Duluth.

The collection consists of three lengthy promotional booklets for the business, a booklet commemorating a visit by Queen Mary to the London offices of the Diamond Trading Company, a color plate detailing Mr. Patrick's private collection of precious and semi-precious stones, a letter concerning the closure of the business, and a letter about R.S. Patrick from Hedwig Viking.

Materials pertaining to Rudolf Hamar's activities in the Estonian Philatelic Society, Estonian Cultural Society, Estonian Educational Society, the student fraternity Rotalia; and also to his career in banking, stock trade, and to his other business endeavors. Included is also Rudolf Hamar's poetry.

The collection contains financial statements and business of the Board of Directors.

The collection consists of black and white photographs by Hjalmer C. Rykken amateur but experienced photographer, that were made between October 1958 and July 1962. Content of the photographs includes: streets, views of Lake Superior, Central High School, Fire Hall, the Hibbard Plant, Lakefront, the First Presbyterian Church, Elliott Packing Co., Park Point, and Rail Road tracks.
