Lumber trade

The collection contains articles of incorporation, May 1911; minutes of the Board of Directors; an account ledger, 1911-1929; two cashbooks, 1911-1929; a tract book describing the land owned, its location, and the amount and quality of timber; and two maps of the area. Also included are stock certificates, 1919-1920.

The collection contains handwritten notes on logging and the lumber business, a small amount of correspondence, manuscripts and biographical materials.

The collection contains corporate and financial records and minutes; job site and construction records; publicity records; and oversized photos and blueprints.

The collection contains the company’s sixth annual financial statement, for the year 1906. The statement includes a message to stockholders.

The collection consists of newsclippings from Ely, Duluth, Grand Rapids, Cook, Aitkin, Deer River papers and the Carlton County Vidette.
