The collection consists of a committee member’s file of materials compiled as part of the work of the preservation committee’s efforts to spearhead community interest and creativity in keeping Central standing.
Emery A. Houghton photographs
The collection consists of 36 photographs, 28 of them in an album. Subjects of the photographs include: views of Duluth, Central High School, view of West End, Duluth Imperial Mill Co., snow scenes, logging camp and lumbering scenes, buildings, Whaleback ships, Incline Railroad at 6th Avenue West, grain elevators, Park Point bathers chute, train wreck and lake vessels.
Robert M. Kerr scrapbook
The scrapbook is actually a photograph album with additional information added into it. Mr. Kerr returned to Duluth for his 50th high school reunion: the class of 1915, Central High School, in 1965. Program and brochure material from the reunion are in the scrapbook.
