Aftenro Society records
The collection includes minutes of the Aftenro Society, some written in Norwegian; historical logs; scrapbooks; correspondence; annual reports; and photographs. It also includes one audiotape of Mrs. Arnold Berg, Aftenro historian, recounting the history of Aftenro Society.
Benjamin E. Youngdahl Papers
The collection contains the personal and professional papers of noted public welfare administrator and social work educator, Benjamin E. Youngdahl. Personal correspondents include Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson, Hubert Humphrey, and John F. Kennedy. Materials documenting Youngdahl's career in the academic and public sectors form the bulk of the collection.

Cook Home records
The collection is comprised of 4 boxes and 39 volumes. It contains a small amount of material relating to administration and facilities, and register volumes. The volumes’ descriptive titles reflect the language of the time and have been retained in this finding aid. Many of the volumes are indexed. List of volumes is not complete.

Duluth Civilian Defense Council records
The collection contains correspondence, bulletins, publications, news clippings, scrapbooks, photographs, posters, personnel lists, and other reference materials from the war activities of the organization. The records were collected from a variety of sources, such as the Duluth Public Library, the War History Division of the Duluth Civilian Defense Council, and individuals. Parts of the collection, therefore, are sporadic and incomplete.

Northwood Children's Home records
The collection includes 12 journals of expenditures or bills paid to local suppliers of goods and services, receipts, and monthly payroll records. The ledgers also include some years of payroll, naming the employee and giving their job title. The collection also contains a history of Northwood Children’s Home, by-laws, 1907 annual report, brochure, and news clippings.

This collection consists of reports made by various county officials; applications for liquor licenses; claims against St. Louis County which have been ordered paid by the County Board; tax records; Auditor's correspondence; public examiner's report on school districts, boards of education, cities, towns, townships, and on St. Louis County; elelction tally sheets; proceedings of the St. Louis County Board of Auditors; and other papers filed with the St. Louis County Auditor.
St. Louis County Board of Commissioners records
The collection contains proceedings, 1858 – 1919; indexes for 1912 – 1914; abstracts of road minutes, 1858 – 1890; and administrative regulations, 1920 – 1938.
St. Louis County Humane Society records
The collection contains articles of incorporation; news clippings, 1914-1965; and executive minutes, 1903-1916. The second volume of executive minutes contains a play written by the Society.
