George A. Newton photographs
The collection consists of cabinet cards and unmounted, primarily, albumen prints stamped with Newton's name or his advertisement. It is assumed he made the photographs.
Malcolm Gillespie photograph collection
This collection contains glass plate negatives and photographic prints collected by Dr. Gillespie. Images include doctors, clinics, hospitals, nurses, the St. Louis County Medical Society, and early scenes of Duluth, Minnesota.
John J. and Edwin J. Hibbard papers
The collection contains photographs consisting of family portraits, bicycles, rifles, houses and work places from 1885-1948; a biography from 1892-1969 and articles from the Northwestern Gun Club of Duluth from 1921-1966; guns, shooting ledgers from 1933-1969; the National Rifle Association from 1926-1933; weather report and diary of John J. Hibbard from 1911-1962.

Subjects of the photographs include: views of Duluth, Central High School, view of West End, Duluth Imperial Mill Co., snow scenes, logging camp and lumbering scenes, buildings, Whaleback ships, Incline Railroad at 6th Avenue West, grain elevators, Park Point bathers chute, train wreck and lake vessels.
